પાસપોર્ટ ઈન્ડિયાની સાઈટ પર ઉપલબ્ધ માહિતી અનુસાર, અરજી સબમિટ કર્યા પછી, તમારા દસ્તાવેજોની તપાસ કરવામાં આવશે અને અંતિમ મંજૂરી પછી, તેને ત્રીજા દિવસે મોકલવામાં આવશે. એટલે કે ત્રીજા દિવસે પાસપોર્ટ તૈયાર થઈ જશે. આ સાથે પોલીસ વેરિફિકેશન રિપોર્ટની પણ રાહ જોવાતી નથી.
ફી કેટલી છે?
નોર્મલ પાસપોર્ટ માટે તમારે 1500 રૂપિયાની ફી ચૂકવવી પડશે. જ્યારે તત્કાલ પાસપોર્ટના કિસ્સામાં તે અલગ છે. અહીં તમારે વધારાની તત્કાલ ફી ચૂકવવી પડશે જે રૂ. 2,000 છે. જો તમે ઓનલાઈન અરજી કરો છો તો તમારે અગાઉથી ફી ભરવાની રહેશે. આ પછી તમારી અરજી સબમિટ કરવામાં આવે છે અને મુલાકાતની તારીખ પસંદ કર્યા પછી તમારે નજીકના પાસપોર્ટ કેન્દ્રની મુલાકાત લેવી પડશે. 36 પેજના તત્કાલ પાસપોર્ટ માટે તમારે 3500 રૂપિયા ચૂકવવા પડશે. 40 પાનાના તત્કાલ પાસપોર્ટ માટે તમારે 4000 રૂપિયાની ફી ચૂકવવી પડશે.
આ લોકો તરત જ પાસપોર્ટ એપ્લાય કરતા નથી
તમને જણાવી દઈએ કે, કોઈપણ વ્યક્તિ તત્કાલ પાસપોર્ટ માટે અરજી કરી શકે છે. જ્યારે નાગાલેન્ડમાં રહેતા લોકો તત્કાલ પાસપોર્ટ માટે અરજી કરી શકતા નથી. પાસપોર્ટ ઓફિસ પાસે તત્કાલ પાસપોર્ટ જારી કરવાની સંપૂર્ણ સત્તા છે. સગીરો પણ તત્કાલ પાસપોર્ટ માટે અરજી કરી શકે છે. પરંતુ આ માટે ઓથોરિટીની પરવાનગી લેવી ફરજિયાત છે.
